Francesco the artist

Francesco is an artist. Mrs Hauraki is an artist. Today Mrs Hauraki showed Francesco how to draw angry faces and happy faces. She showed Francesco how to draw trains and mountains with snow. Here they are having the lesson.

Lucas and the elves letter

Lucas wrote a letter to the elves. Mrs E put it by Lucas's shelter. The elves wrote a letter back to Lucus. It said "We saw the teacher put your note down by your house. Thank you, you are very kind. It rained last night and we had to stay indoors. Have a happy day" your special friends, the Elves. Here is a photo of Lucus with his letter.

Elves shelter

A few days ago we made elf shelters for the elves. We went with Mrs Ellingham to the creek area. We used sticks and leaves to make the shelters. This morning when we went to look at the shelters the elves left us a thank you note. 

Let's celebrate Xavier's success

Xavier has just completed the Reading Recovery programme. He has made good progress throughout his journey. Mrs Easton is pleased with the way he reads with expression and the phrasing he uses. All of Room 4 are proud of you Xavier. Mrs Irwin knows you will keep up the good work in the class and keep using those good decoding skills.

Our class

Yahoo we had everyone at school today so we could take a class photo. We have waited for 3 weeks to have everyone at school. Here we are. The happy Room 4 children.
